Beginning with the Sermon Series in September 2004, we have been raising the prayer temperature of our personal prayer, prayer within the family, and prayer as a church.

The Gethsemane Prayer Room is open for all. We welcome anyone who wants to come pray. This special place is located off the main sanctuary just to the left as you face the stained glass window.

Complete Your CTS Prayer Guide --- If you are missing any of the Prayer series resource materials, please stop by the Gethsemane Prayer Room and pick up the resources. If there are none on top of the desk, please contact a Prayer Warrior or Susan Hess and we will help you.

Calling Prayer Warriors --- The Gethsemane Prayer Ministry is made up of Prayer Warriors from the body of believers. Our goal is to establish a vibrant prayer ministry focused on praying for the personal needs, church, and nation. Therefore, we need all who feel called by the Lord to join the team as a prayer warrior. There are two opportunities for participation -- first, individuals who will come to church and pray and second, group prayer. Our goal is to have at least one prayer warrior praying here at CTS each day. If you feel the Lord calling you to join the Gethsemane Prayer Ministry, please contact Erwin Thomas through the church office, 770-475-0640.

How do I access the prayer Ministry? -- Complete a prayer request card. Cards are located throughout the Church or can be attained from an usher. These cards will be used by the Prayer Warriors to pray for the prayer requests. Complete the following on the request card:

The reverse side of the Prayer request will be used by the prayer warriors. However, there is one last thing you will need to do to close out a prayer request.   How did God answer the prayer? Please let us know. Also, every time a prayer warrior prays for the request, they will initial the card. After the answer has closed out the prayer request, we will send it either to the one prayed for or to you the requester. This will be a joyous celebration to see all the times a need was prayed for.

As in the old hymn …
“What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, what a blessing that
we can take everything to God in Prayer!!
